Getting to work in Hamilton
HSR routes cover the lower city and the Mountain: the 10 B-Line express along Main and King, the 2 Barton along the Bayfront industrial strip, the 20 A-Line up Upper James toward the airport, and the 44 Rymal and 55 Stoney Creek Central for the Red Hill and Stoney Creek parks.
GO Transit's Lakeshore West line (Hamilton GO Centre, West Harbour, and Aldershot in Burlington) connects to Toronto and Mississauga, and GO buses run the QEW around the clock. The airport cargo lands after midnight are car-dependent, and we say so to every candidate before an overnight placement.
The Red Hill Valley Parkway and Lincoln Alexander Parkway put the business parks within 15 minutes of most of the city by car. The QEW at the Skyway is the bottleneck for Burlington and Grimsby commuters.
