Who we are and what these terms cover
This website, assuredemploymentservices.com, is operated by Assured Employment Services ("Assured", "we", "us"), an employment agency based in Markham, Ontario. These terms apply to everyone who uses the site: job seekers browsing and applying for work, employers asking for staff or booking a consultation, and anyone reaching the site through the connector we publish for AI assistants. You accept these terms when you send us a form, book a consultation or otherwise use the site. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

- Staffing, payroll, time and attendance, HR consulting and cleaning services, and any other service we provide, are supplied under a separate written service agreement; where that agreement and these terms differ, the agreement applies
- Once you start an assignment or are hired by a client, the employment documents for that work govern it, not these terms
Using the site
You may use the site to learn about our services, browse and apply for jobs, send us an enquiry and book a consultation. In return you agree to use it honestly and lawfully.
- Give accurate, current information on every form and tell us when it changes; do not apply or enquire under someone else's name
- Do not copy, scrape, crawl or republish job listings, page content or information about candidates or clients, beyond what search engines do with public pages and what the connector allows
- Do not interfere with the site, probe its security, submit malicious code or try to reach pages, data or accounts you are not authorised to use
- Do not use our forms to send advertising, bulk messages or anything unrelated to staffing
- Apply for a job only if you are of legal working age where the job is located
Job listings and applications
Listings on the site describe roles we are recruiting for on behalf of our clients. We keep them current, but a role can be filled, changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.
- Sending an application or resume does not guarantee an interview, an offer of employment or a placement; a recruiter reviews it and contacts you if there is a fit
- Applying or registering with us does not by itself make you our employee. If we agree to place you in temporary work, you become our assignment employee from that agreement, whether or not a client has been found yet, and the written terms we give you and the employment standards law where you work govern that work. If a client hires you directly or permanently, the client is your employer and its offer governs
- We never charge a job seeker for registering, applying, being placed, or for help with a resume or interview. Ontario's Employment Standards Act prohibits temporary help agencies from charging such fees, and we charge none anywhere we work
- Pay or a pay range shown in a listing is the expected pay for the role when it was posted; your rate is confirmed in writing before you start
- When you give us references, you confirm that they have agreed to be contacted
Employer enquiries, staff requests and bookings
Sending a staff request or an enquiry, or booking a consultation, asks us to get in touch. It does not by itself create a staffing engagement, and we may decline any request.
- A consultation is free and carries no obligation. We confirm a booking by email with a link to reschedule or cancel; we may limit how many times a booking is moved online, after which we ask you to call
- Rates, invoicing terms, notice periods, satisfaction and replacement guarantees and any temp-to-perm conversion are set out in the service agreement you sign with us. Where the site describes pricing, timing or guarantees, including on our employer pages, the description is general, is subject to that agreement, and is not a quote or a binding offer
- Some provinces and states require a licence or permit for particular kinds of placement. Nothing on this site offers a placement that needs an authorisation we do not hold; your service agreement states which licences, permits or registrations apply to your engagement, and we will give you the details on request
Connector for AI assistants
We publish a connector (a Model Context Protocol endpoint at /mcp) that lets an AI assistant read our current job listings, services and contact details on your behalf. It is a read-only window on the public parts of this site.
- Access requires a sign-in we issue, and we may change, limit or withdraw it at any time without notice
- Use the connector only through tools that honour its sign-in, and not to collect listings or other data in bulk or to build a competing service
- Information returned by the connector is subject to these terms, including the sections on listings and accuracy
Staff accounts
The staff portal is for Assured employees and people we invite. If you hold an account, keep your sign-in details private and do not share the account. If you think it has been compromised, tell us at once; until you do, you are responsible for what is done with it. Changes made in the portal are recorded against the account that made them.
Our content and your content
The text, photographs, logos, design and code of this site belong to Assured or are used under licence. You may view and print pages for your own use in dealing with us, and link to any page. No other rights are granted.
- Resumes, applications and messages you send remain yours. You give us permission to store, copy and share them as the privacy policy describes, so that we can consider you for work or respond to you
- The Assured name and logo may not be used in a way that suggests we endorse you or your business without our written agreement
Third-party services
Parts of the site rely on services run by others, including Google Analytics and Tag Manager for measurement; Google Fonts for the site's typefaces; Google Calendar and Google Meet, used through our own office Google account to put each confirmed consultation on our calendar, send you the invitation and, for video calls, create the meeting link (we never ask you to sign in with Google and never access a Google account of yours); job boards such as Indeed that republish our listings; OpenFreeMap for the service-area map; and the providers that host the site, store its data and deliver our email. Each has its own terms and privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and are not an endorsement.
Privacy and communications
Our privacy policy explains what we collect through this site, why, how long we keep it and how to ask us to see, correct or delete it. By sending us an application, enquiry, staff request or booking you agree that we may contact you about it by email, phone or text message. We do not send marketing email or texts unless you have separately agreed to receive them or the law otherwise allows it, and every marketing message tells you how to unsubscribe. Messages about an application, placement or booking you have asked for continue while they are needed.
Accuracy, availability and no advice
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise that it always will be. Information on the site about employment standards, licensing, pay or safety describes how we work in general terms; it is not legal, HR or financial advice for your situation.
- We may change or remove any part of the site, pause online booking or applications, and correct errors without notice
- The site is provided as is and, to the extent the law allows, without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under employment standards, consumer protection or any other law that applies where you live or work and that a contract cannot override
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Assured is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on its content, including lost profits, lost business or lost data. This does not apply to loss caused by our fraud or wilful misconduct, or where the law does not allow us to exclude it. Liability arising from a staffing, payroll or other engagement is dealt with in the service agreement for that engagement, not here.
- If your breach of these terms leads to a claim against us by someone else, you agree to compensate us for the loss that results
Suspending access
We may block or limit access to the site, the connector or an account if these terms are broken, or to protect the site and the people who use it. The sections on content, liability and governing law continue to apply after access ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date on this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. A booking or application already in progress is governed by the version in force when you submitted it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes about the site are heard in the courts of Ontario, unless a law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
