CN's MacMillan Yard in Concord is the largest rail yard in the country, and CP's Vaughan Intermodal Terminal to the west feeds a fast-growing belt of distribution buildings around Highway 427 and Huntington Road.

Getting to work in Vaughan
The TTC's Line 1 extension puts Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, Highway 407 and Pioneer Village stations within reach of Toronto workers, and YRT and Viva Orange run along Highway 7 from the subway west to Martin Grove through the Concord and Woodbridge industrial areas. YRT routes on Jane, Keele, Rutherford and Major Mackenzie fill in the north–south links, and the Barrie GO line stops at Rutherford and Maple.
The 427 logistics zone is the exception: it is car-dependent, especially outside daytime hours. We are upfront about that with candidates and prioritise people from Woodbridge, Kleinburg, Bolton and northwest Toronto for those sites.
By car Vaughan is central, with the 400, 407, 427 and Highway 7. Shift-change traffic on Highway 7 at Keele and on Rutherford at the 400 is the main delay.

Our office is on 14th Avenue in Markham, about 20 minutes east along Highway 7 or the 407. Site visits and same-day replacements in Vaughan are routine for us.
Can you fill skilled trades in Vaughan?
Yes: CNC and machine operators, welders, millwright helpers, assemblers and finishers for the Woodbridge manufacturing belt. Trade certificates and CWB welding tickets are verified before an introduction, and compulsory trades are placed only with valid Ontario certification.
