Warehouse work in Markham is concentrated in Milliken Mills (Steeles, Kennedy, Warden and 14th Avenue), where import distributors, electronics and computer companies, food manufacturers and printers hire forklift operators, shippers and receivers, pickers and general labour, and along Denison Street and McCowan Road, where building-products and auto-parts wholesalers hire warehouse and counter staff.
Milliken Mills is the easiest industrial area in York Region to reach without a car: Milliken GO on the Stouffville line and the TTC 53 Steeles East put most sites within a ten-minute walk. Because our office is here, you can register in person and often interview at the site the same week. Pay in Markham warehouses typically runs $18 to $21 an hour for general roles and $20 to $25 for forklift and shipping.

Warehouse work is the largest category of jobs we fill. Retail and grocery distribution centres, third-party logistics buildings, e-commerce fulfilment, import and parts distribution and cold storage all need the same core roles: people who pick and pack orders accurately, load and unload trailers, keep inventory straight and move product safely.

Getting there
Getting to work in Markham
Viva Purple and YRT route 1 run along Highway 7 through Markham Centre; Viva Green and the 24 Woodbine link the 404 office corridor to Don Mills station; the TTC's 53 Steeles East serves the Milliken Mills industrial area from Finch station. The Stouffville GO line stops at Milliken, Unionville, Centennial, Markham and Mount Joy.
Milliken Mills is the easiest industrial area in York Region to reach without a car: Milliken GO and the Steeles buses put most sites within a ten-minute walk. The 404 office parks are harder off-peak, though Viva covers weekdays well.
By car, the 404, 407 and Highway 7 put Richmond Hill, Vaughan and north Toronto within 20 minutes.

No. Many of our warehouse placements are entry level. Reliability, safety footwear and the ability to work a full shift on your feet are what employers ask for. Experience and certifications move you into higher-paid roles.
How quickly can I start?
