Warehouse work in Toronto
Warehouse work inside Toronto proper concentrates in South Etobicoke along the Queensway, Evans Avenue and Kipling (food and beverage distribution, packaging), in Rexdale along Highway 27 and Carlingview (courier hubs, air-cargo overflow and distribution), in North York around Keele–Finch and Dufferin–Finch (medical supply, printing and last-mile depots) and in the Junction and Port Lands (film and event logistics, building materials).
The TTC covers all of these, if not always quickly: Kipling and Islington stations and the 44 and 110 for South Etobicoke, the 191 Highway 27 Rocket and 45 Kipling for Rexdale, Finch West for North York. Pay in Toronto warehouses typically runs $18 to $21 an hour for general roles and $20 to $26 for forklift and dock work.
Where the work is
South Etobicoke (the Queensway, Evans, Kipling and Islington)
Food and beverage plants, packaging, distribution and light manufacturing. Production line, forklift, shipper/receiver and general labour.
Rexdale (Highway 27 and Carlingview)
Courier hubs, air-cargo overflow and distribution beside Pearson. Sorters, dock workers, forklift operators and DZ and G-class delivery drivers.
North York (Keele–Finch, Dufferin–Finch and Downsview)
Manufacturing, printing, medical-supply distribution and last-mile depots. Machine operators, pickers, packers and drivers.
The Junction, the Stockyards and the Port Lands
Film and event logistics, food distribution and building materials. General labour, forklift and warehouse roles, often at short notice.
Downtown, Liberty Village and midtown
Financial, legal, insurance, technology and healthcare offices. Reception, administrative, data-entry, customer-service and accounting support.

Warehouse jobs
Warehouse work is the largest category of jobs we fill. Retail and grocery distribution centres, third-party logistics buildings, e-commerce fulfilment, import and parts distribution and cold storage all need the same core roles: people who pick and pack orders accurately, load and unload trailers, keep inventory straight and move product safely.

Getting there
Getting to work in Toronto
The TTC reaches almost every industrial pocket, though not always quickly: South Etobicoke via Kipling and Islington stations and the 44 Kipling South and 110 Islington South; Rexdale via the 191 Highway 27 Rocket and 45 Kipling; North York via Finch West station and the Finch, Keele and Dufferin buses. Downtown offices are a subway ride.
Blue Night buses cover the major arterials after the subway closes, which keeps Etobicoke and North York night shifts staffable. Rexdale sites off Carlingview and Attwell are where we check transportation most carefully.
For downtown office placements we favour candidates on the subway lines or the GO network. A temp who is late in week one will not be extended in week three.

Frequently asked
Do I need experience to get a warehouse job?
No. Many of our warehouse placements are entry level. Reliability, safety footwear and the ability to work a full shift on your feet are what employers ask for. Experience and certifications move you into higher-paid roles.
How quickly can I start?
Often within a few days of registering. Once your documents are verified and we have matched you to a site, you can be on a shift the next day for many general warehouse roles.
Is there a fee to work through Assured?
